The story of Ayyub touches on the discussion of evil, patience, the loss of family, and the loss of wealth. It is a story of resilience and unconditional worship of his Creator no matter how severe the trials placed in front of him.
This is a course that gives us the tools to come to terms with the trials we experience in life.
When we are put in a difficult situation, or tested with a crisis, we might find ourselves asking, why? Why do bad things happen to good people? Why is God testing me? Why do I deserve this?
Life isn’t always easy – it has its ups and downs. And everyone faces different challenges and crises unique to our own situations. Even the best of people, the prophets, faced life-changing trials and tribulations and it is through the lessons from their lives that we learn how to respond to ours.
The prophets were tested severely, but they would not ask why this was happening, they would ask what was expected of them.
And in Prophet Ayube, though we only have a few glimpses into his life story, in those glimpses are invaluable lessons that we can apply to our own lives…
In his story we can draw every concept that is necessary to get out of a crisis, be it a health crisis, a financial crisis or a faith crisis. We are always in between hope and despair, hardship and ease. In this course, learn to navigate not only through hardship, but also through gratitude, towards ease.
