Your Summer Getaway, Sorted
This summer, spend a week with our world-renowned instructors at a stunning country manor in the heart of England, as we explore one of Islam’s most important texts in depth.
It’s a combination of studying, relaxation, family activities, and life-long memories.
1,200 Years of Knowledge
For over 1,200 years, scholars have studied, narrated, and transformed their lives through Sahih Al-Bukhari.
This August, you will join that blessed chain, in sha Allah — connecting yourself all the way back to the Prophet ﷺ through the most authentic collection of his ahadith.
Over seven days, you’ll cover select books from the Sahih, including:
With exclusive guidance and insight from expert instructors joining you for a week of knowledge and memories.
The best part of IlmSummit is the time you get to spend with the instructors. From Fajr until Isha’, you are constantly surrounded by and in the company of the ‘ulema.

A qualified judge, educator, and researcher specialising in Islamic law. He holds a PhD in Comparative Islamic Law and serves as Head of the Department of Fiqh at Knowledge International University.
The teacher and the poet. Known for his unique storytelling and contemplative approach to the Quran, tying reflections on Dua and Dhikr into every class for a truly memorable experience.
A UK-based educator, Imam, and author with a BA in Islamic Studies from Al-Azhar. Academic Director at Roots Academy, he speaks on spiritual growth, the Names of Allah, and practical Islam for modern life.
A prominent Canadian scholar, speaker, and family counsellor based in Calgary. Director of Religious and Social Services at IISC, he specialises in youth education and community integration.
A Day in the Life
Start your day with the hum of adhkar and circles of Quran as you witness the sun rise over the quaint, cozy British country manor you’ll call home for the week.
By breakfast, you won’t just hear the birds chirping, but the sound of children running around excited for the day ahead — and what a day it is!
While the kids are off on adventures packed with arts, crafts, sports, and storytelling, you’ll spend the day immersed in the hadith of Rasulullah ﷺ, covering everything from Aqidah to Tazkiyah and more.
Unwind over table tennis or snooker in the hotel lounge, or take a dip in the pool after hours… and that’s when you hear about Shaykh Waleed’s impromptu halaqa, or the sisters’ games night in the hall.
That’s what an average day at IlmSummit looks like — and we haven’t even gotten to the group outings! With all meals included and spaces for games and recreation, you’ll have everything you could want in one place for this incredible week.
What’s Included
This isn’t a series of lectures. It’s a tight-knit communal learning experience where you bond with like-minded students from around the UK and beyond, united in the pursuit of knowledge that transforms. Leave as a better Muslim, parent, friend, and community member.
Beyond the Classroom
The best part of IlmSummit is the time you get to spend with the instructors. From Fajr until Isha’, you are constantly in the company of the ‘ulema — from general conversation to questions and answers, to speaking with them one-on-one, as well as fun and games. This only happens at IlmSummit.
For the Whole Family
This year, we’re making it easier than ever for the whole family to experience IlmSummit together. While you’re deepening your understanding of Sahih Al-Bukhari, your children build their own Islamic foundation in a fun, engaging environment. Meals together. Activities together. Growth together.
In Their Words
★★★★★Absolutely incredible! By far the best experience I’ve had in doing any sort of Islamic course. To live onsite with the shuyukh and the students, learning about the deen, is a feeling I can’t put into words. Let’s just say I never wanted it to end! It’s the best financial and time sacrifice I could’ve made.

★★★★★One of the major benefits of attending a learning retreat are the lessons you learn from the fellow attendees. It’s a given to learn from the brilliant teachers, but you learn just as much from the fellow students. The one-to-one conversations are truly priceless.

★★★★★Wallahi this was one of the best experiences of my life. I’ve been on 3–4 day retreats with many other institutes, but above all — wallahi — the level of knowledge AlMaghrib delivered at this IlmSummit, subhanAllah, just smacked it out of the park!

★★★★★I don’t know if words can do justice to the experience we had at IlmSummit. It’s like trying to describe Hajj and Umrah — you start trying to describe the greatness of it, then you just say “you know, you just have to go.” The essence is indescribable.

★★★★★I just want to say thank you to everyone for making me feel so welcome during IlmSummit. The past week has been among the best I’ve ever lived. Thank you to the organizers for doing a great job.
