300 Families Will Decide What Islamic Education Looks Like

You know what it feels like when your Deen finally clicks. When the Quran opens up in a way it never did before. When you can answer your child’s question with confidence instead of guessing. When doubt comes and something actually holds.

That didn’t happen by accident. Someone taught you. A scholar, a program, a community that took Islamic education seriously.

Now imagine every Muslim family having that same foundation. A generation that doesn’t have to guess. That can pass their Deen on whole, not in pieces.

That’s what we’re building. And we need your help to make it real.

But Right Now, An Entire Generation Of Muslims Is Learning Their Deen From TikTok

Not from scholars. Not from structure. From an algorithm that decides what they learn based on what keeps them watching.

They didn’t choose this. Nobody sat down and decided that 60-second clips from strangers would be how this generation builds their understanding of Islam. But nothing better was built for them. So the algorithm filled the gap

You Can’t Stitch Your Deen Together and Expect It to Hold. Let Alone Pass It On.

A Deen stitched together from fragments doesn’t hold when life tests it. The moment your child asks a question you can’t answer. The moment doubt hits and nothing underneath is strong enough to carry it. The moment a young Muslim walks away quietly because what they were given was never complete enough to hold onto.

Whatever foundation we give this generation is the foundation they pass to the next. And the next passes it to theirs. This isn’t just about today. It’s about what the ummah looks like three generations from now.

Every Amount Becomes Sadaqah Jariyah.

You don’t have to be one of the 300 to make a difference with us this Ramadan. Any amount given toward Islamic education and the infrastructure that builds strong and knowledgeable Muslims becomes ongoing reward every time a student learns, teaches, and passes it on.

$50 could be the reason a student enrolls. $150 could fund a scholarship seat. $500 could produce a podcast episode that reaches thousands.

Whatever you give, give from your heart so we can impact the next generations of Muslims together.

Every generation of this ummah carried the Deen forward. Some with their lives. Some with their scholarship. Some with their wealth. The knowledge we have today exists because someone before us decided it was worth protecting.

That’s what we’re asking you to do now.

300 families. $2,500 each. That’s what it takes to keep scholars in front of cameras, doors open for students who can’t afford tuition, instructors funded, and live seminars reaching cities that have never had one.

AlMaghrib didn’t start with infrastructure. It started with a handful of people who said yes to something small.

When Sh. Muhammad Alshareef, rahimahullah, launched the first AlMaghrib seminar more than 24 years ago, he didn’t have a studio or a platform.

He had scholars, a curriculum, and a few early believers who donated what was needed to get students into a room.

One person donated a projector. Another designed the course materials’ workbook and poster. Someone else covered printing costs.

None of them were funding an institution. They were just removing the one thing standing between a scholar and a room full of students.

That Room Full Of Students Became
A Movement Of 50,000 students.

Ten years later, one brother donated a set of cameras that became the foundation to AlMaghrib Studios today.

That single contribution became 300+ hours of recorded knowledge, hundreds of thousands of students, and millions of views.

This is what small looks like before Allah multiplies it. “Who is it that will lend Allah a goodly loan so He may multiply it for him many times over?”

(Al-Baqarah: 245)

A projector. A set of cameras.

Neither donor could see what they were starting. Both changed the trajectory of Islamic education in the West forever.

Now the infrastructure exists. The scholars are here. The courses are built. The only thing this era requires is reach.

And this time, the ask isn’t a projector.

It’s 300 families. $2,500 each. To take everything AlMaghrib has built and get it to every Muslim who needs it, in every city waiting for its first live event, on every screen of every student sitting on a waitlist right now.

The brother who donated that projector had no idea what he was starting.

Neither did the one who donated the cameras.

That’s always how it works.

Will your family be the one that unlocks the next era?
