Dr. Suleiman Hani
Dr. Suleiman Hani serves as Dean of Academic Affairs at AlMaghrib Institute and a Research Fellow at Yaqeen Institute. A distinguished scholar and international lecturer, he specializes in Islamic studies, philosophy, leadership, and human rights.
Dr. Suleiman uniquely bridges traditional Islamic scholarship with contemporary academia, holding master’s degrees from Harvard University and the University of Jordan, a doctorate in Leadership from New York University, and traditional certifications (ijazat) in classical Islamic texts from renowned scholars. He is involved in FCNA and AMJA, two of the most prominent fiqh councils in North America, and occasionally presents advanced topics at the AMJA conference.
Over the past decade, he has delivered lectures in over fifty countries and serves as strategic and board advisor to numerous national and international organizations. As a prolific author and resident scholar in Michigan, his work addresses contemporary challenges facing Muslim communities while inspiring students worldwide through both traditional and innovative educational platforms.
