Alhamdulillah it is with great pleasure that I get to introduce to you our latest addition to the USA-Based Instructors: Shaykh Suhaib Webb!
Imam Suhaib Webb was born and raised in the State of Oklahoma, USA. Suhaib William Webb accepted Islam at the age of twenty. He graduated in Education from the Central Oklahoma University and has studied Arabic and Islamic Sciences under many notable scholars. Imam Suhaib is a dynamic and inspiring speaker and is a Lecturer at the Islamic American University (IAU) in California. He is currently studying Shariah at Al-Azhar University (Egypt) and is the author of the best selling audio CD album ‘Mothers of the Believers’.
Shaykh Suhaib is one of the premier Islamic speakers in the USA and Canada, and it is truly a pleasure to all of us when Muslims team up to make their individual da'wah that much stronger when we work together.Please welcome our new AlMaghrib Instructor: Imam Suhaib Webb!

I do not know much about this Sheikh. However I have one question:
Is Maghrib Institute moving away from it's norm to hire Instructors without a formal degree in Islamic Studies? I thought all Instructors are qualified from Medina University.
Nasar - Maybe Al Maghrib want's to diversify there teachers in order to provide a broader spectrum of students towards a vision of sunni unity in the North American ummah.
